With Steve Park and Minyoung Jung, Gochang, Korea (April 2022)

Right before I left Korea to return to the states, I made a short trip to Gochang, Cholla-bukdo with my old-time friends Min-Young and Pastor Steve Park's couple. The last-minute travel was because Pastor Steve's travel to Korea was delayed from the original schedule, but I was glad that he arrived in time before my departure time so that we could make the trip possible.

Min-Young drove the car from Seoul to pick me up in Osan, to head down to Gochang.

We stopped over in Chungju for me to take care of some administrative issues. Then, we ate duck cuisine cooked with black garlic. It was delicious!

After lunch, we stopped over at Viche Cafe, sharing what has happened in the BAM ecosystem. They appreciated the ambiance.

After we checked in at the lodging, Healing County, Gochang, we explored the town and went into a cafe for a drink.

We walked on a mud path where we were supposed to walk in bare foot. With our shoes on, it was still refreshing and healing to look around the scenery.

The following day, we set out to visit the fortress wall that was beautifully surrounded by blossoming azelea flowers. The scenery was spectacular and panoramic.

At the entrance to the lodging was a small park with a small lake and a water fountain. The scenery was cozy and beautiful.

We have high respect for both and it was a blessing for me to spend time with them. May God use them in a mighty way to help advance His Kingdom on earth and be glorified abundantly through their teaching, coaching, and mentoring. - Jeffrey
