Akagera National Park in Rwanda (July 2011)

Kristin and I traveled to Akagera National Park, along with our friends, Bohye Kim and her friend visiting from Korea. It was an overnight travel staying at the Akagera Lodge, overlooking the Lake Ihema, the second largest in Rwanda.

Since it was a dry season, we did not get to see many animals but we took a boat trip in the Lake Ihema and it was a bliss. We visited a bird sanctuary, saw a floating island covered with papyrus (100m x 200m) and saw some animals including hippos and crocodiles. We had a moment of total silence in the middle of the Lake. It was heavenly...

Road Trip in the U.S. (April/May 2011)

Kristin and I had a blessed opportunity to make a road trip in the U.S. for 25 days. We drove more than 4,000 miles in six (6) states, including Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. Then we flew out of Denver to visit New York City and took a train to go down to Philadelphia and Lancaster, PA. It was a great fun and a time of meeting friends and family. Here are some photos of significance. - Jeffrey
