Vienna, Austria (November 2011)

In November 2011, I traveled to Vienna, Austria for a week. It was the first two residence courses for my doctorate degree in business administration that I started with SMC University, Switzerland.

There were only four students, but it was worthwhile. Four students were John from Ghana, Estelle from S. Africa, Hope from Canada and myself.

The courses that I took were Research Methodology and Management. The professor was Dr. Ted Sun, a Chinese American who has now two doctorate degrees. He was young but energetic and effective in teaching.

It was colder than I thought and I was under-prepared. But I survived. Mostly we studied, but for a couple of nights we went outside to visit the Christmas Market and for a dinner. It was short but colorful. - Jeffrey
