We gather together with the families of our two daughters over Thanksgiving Day. We have had this tradition for the past several years. This year, we met again in the Dallas area. We rented a house in Carrolton close to Lavon where Amanda's house is located.
I had a surprise meet-up with Enoch Baek who is one of the participants in the SfK BMT 2023 class. He lives in Dallas. He is actively involved in CBMC, a Christian businessmen's association.
Kristin and I started as a couple. God gave us two daughters, making our family four. When they got married, our family grew to six. Amanda and Ray gave birth to two sons (Eli and Gabriel) while Joyce and Kyle gave birth to one son: Myles. These are our grandchildren. From left to right, Gabriel, Eli, and Myles.
Thus, our family has now grown to nine members. What a blessing we have received. I am so grateful. So, we took family photos with a professional photographer.
We took a lot of photos, capturing precious moments.
Our Thanksgiving dinner included a roasted turkey with side dishes, such as creamed corn, stuffing casserole, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, mashed potato, and pumpkin cheesecake. Kristin has been making this Thanksgiving Dinner for many years. The dish was so good. Yummy!!!
We took out own family photo with Brandi, Ray's sister, who is living together with Amanda and Ray.
We will meet up again next year and I wonder how our family members will change. One thing for sure is that the children will grow taller and bigger. We will see. - Jeffrey
