Bodrum Turkey (September 2023)

After visiting Afrodisias, we continued our travel to Bodrum, a resort town facing the Aegean Sea, different from Antalya which was at the Mediterranean Sea.

Our stop in Bodrum was mostly for rest and relaxation purposes. Our hotel was located at the top of a hill with a panoramic view of the marina from the restaurant and the infinity pool.

The important part of sufficient rest requires good food. We explored many restaurants inside the hotel as well as outside, and most of them were really good. We enjoyed the easy-going part of the tour.

Good food would be much more appreciated if the ambiance is beautiful than without it, such as spectacular views, gorgeous sunsets, soul-cleansing sea breezes, and cool pool.

Moreover, we paid a visit to a few interesting places including an amphitheater right by a busy street, a picture-perfect view, and the statues that offer meanings.

We visited Crusader's Castle located by the marina. It exhibited many artifacts, including underwater archaeology.

The following day, we made a stop at a place where Mary, the mother of Jesus, lived after he died on he cross.

Our stay in Bodrum was truly restful. - Jeffrey
