Beach near Pono Kai -  When we hiked around the Pono Kai resort, we often walked a bit longer to a beach nearby. The scenery from the hiking trail was so refreshing and artistically beautiful.

Poipu Beach - is a beach in the southwest area of Kauai. It is relatively drier than other beaches and very popular with young tourists.

Kauai Coffee Plantation - is the largest in Kauai. Whenever we talk about coffee in the U.S. we think of Kona Coffee produced in the Big Island. But, Kauai also produces coffee although its scale was rather small.

Waimea Canyon - is a quite hilly canyon even to get there. Once you get there, however, you are greeted by the canyon views from multiple angles. Of course, you cannot expect the scale you have seen else where such as Grand Canyon. 

Lighthouse - We stopped over to watch a lighthouse remotely located from the lookout point. 

Ching Young Village - is a small shopping mall located at the far north end of Kauai. You can experience Kauai arts and buy souvenirs. 

It was a short one-day driving trip we had, but we enjoyed the time together under the perfect Hawaiian weather. - Jeffrey
