Buena Park, California (September 2022)

Why does the picture of the snack appear in front? Well... because we met a lot of people mostly over meals.

After staying at the Welk Resort in Escondido for 7 nights, we drove up to the missionary housing at God's Family Church in Buena Park for a few days. The primary purpose of this stay was to meet up with friends and family.

We had dinner with Jinsoo's family. Jinsoo is a banker and is a cousin to Kristin. We arranged for him to meet his wife Young Hye. Their son Nathan came to visit us in Chiang Mai too. Jinsoo let us use a car Nathan normally drives. So we had a wonderful time together. Jinsoo even serves as a volunteer staff for SfK Life.

I also met with Alyse Kwon and Julie. Both are involved with Shop4Impact.com, an e-commerce platform for SfK Network. Alyse is a marketing director and Julie has been handling logistics based in Phoenix, AZ. She brought dried mango and palm sugar boxes to be delivered to Gary and Cindy Moon for their use at the church. I appreciate your service.

We were invited to the home of Gary and Cindy Moon for dinner. They served in Thailand and lived in Chiang Mai, close to our own dwelling place. We even traveled together to visit Yellow Mountain in China.

We spent time together with Kristin's brother, Kwang Ku, who lives in Buena Park, very close to where we stayed. We have been maintaining a steady relationship over the years. He looked healthy.

We met up with Pastor Sam Pang and his wife over breakfast in Buena Park. They served at KCPC and LCC in Denver, CO. Pastor Sam is now Senior Pastor at Cerritos Mission Church. It appeared that the time has passed over them since they looked young.

I had lunch with Dong Hoon Choi, Cconma USA's CEO. He was then still serving as a member of SfK Korea board. He has since resigned. He attended SfK BMT and has been doing well with the e-commerce in both Korea and the U.S.

We spent time together with Pastor Daeho Yu's couple and In Kim couple and Steven Hong's couple. Pastor Yu is the senior pastor of God's Family Church and the Hongs and the Kims are old friends from the OMC. It was great to see them again.

Someone said that you should travel while your heart still beats. When your knees start shaking, you cannot travel anymore. It is so true. So I keep traveling as long as my heart beats. Lord willing. - Jeffrey
