Kruja, Albania (February 2026)

While we were staying in Tirana, we signed up for an optional tour to Kruja, a mountainous town with a panoramic view and a traditional cultural museum. Mr. and Mrs. Kim also signed up, but could not join us due to illness.

The highlight of this optional tour was Albania's traditional dance. The musicians, singers, and dancers were all very pleasant and entertaining.

We passed through a bazaar that was full of souvenir stores. Some of the merchandise they were selling was of no use or value to me, but I suspect they were selling it because people were buying it.

We visited a traditional cultural museum established at a private house of a rich man from this region. The house layout and many cultural artifacts displayed in the house were quite interesting.

We compared our own selfies. Which one looks better? I think mine was too dark.

We were pleased with the optional tour, and we felt sorry for Mr. and Mrs. Kim. Their decision to skip this tour and take a rest was the right one. - Jeffrey
