Kruger, South Africa (March 2026)

After we spent several days in Harare, Zimbabwe, we flew again to Johannesburg and continued to fly to Kruger, a rural town famous for its world-renowned Kruger National Park. But the primary purpose of our visit was to visit Rehoboth, a farm for Foundations for Farming. While the Champs in Harare was a mature farm with decades of experience, Rehoboth started its farming God's way approximately two years ago. So, seeing their operations would give us a different perspective. The airport was tiny and cute.

From the airplane, the ground view through clouds was otherworldly.

We were received with a warm welcome by the owner couple and a few other staff members. They served us with a meal that was authentically South African. They were delicious.

At Rehoboth, I had a major accident. On March 7, I had to lead the first lecture for a new online training course of SHINE HDT Network, called Entrepreneurship Discipleship Training or EDT, at 2 am. Why this early? Because the time was set to be aligned with Korea's 9:00 AM. Because there were three other people in the room I was sleeping in, I did not want to use an alarm to wake up before the training, so I ended up staying up until the online training time. After 4:00 AM, I came out of the cafeteria, where I had the online training. It was charcoal dark outside without any light. Because my room was right after I walked down a slope, I went down without a torch or a light. And, the slope was without any guardrail, so I fell from a 2-foot height with my laptop computer in my hand. The laptop fell with one corner on the ground, with the opposite corner banging on my chin. It was so painful that I felt immediately like I had broken my jawbone. I could not even feel any pain in my bruises, bloody cuts, and scratched wounds all over my body. Thank God for His grace! I did not break my bone, but I had to spend several days healing my wounds. I realized later that I had God's grace because the laptop corner hit my chin right at the center. Otherwise, I would have broken my jawbones. Thank you, Lord!

Because of this incident, I was bedridden the following day. I was planning to skip the safari to Kruger National Park anyway, but the rest of the group went on safari at Kruger National Park. I received some photos of the safari.

The following day, we went to attend a worship service at a local church. Worshipping with fellow brothers and sisters is always a great joy. Nearby was a farm that was just starting up using the same farming methodology.

During the trip, I met so many people, but I would not want to keep in contact with all of them. I met an Indian businessman who chairs the board of directors for Foundations for Farming Zimbabwe. I do not remember his name, but he was passionate about serving God according to His will and His way. A man of God.

The incident that I had to deal with was painful, but even in the midst of this mishap, I experienced God's grace. Thank you, Lord! - Jeffrey
