Oaxaca (XI) - Mitla, Mexico (January 2024)

Mitla is a town, located 44 km from Oaxaca City, where you can find the ruins of the Zapotec civilization.

Before we arrived at the Mitla site, we had lunch at a traditional Oaxacan restaurant. A buffet-style food was served.

It is considered the second most important archaeological site in Oaxaca, next to Monte Alban. It decorative design on the walls was unique.

The site was not big and had no variety, but its historical significance remained meaningful. - Jeffrey
