Oaxaca (VI) - Mezcal Distillery, Mexico (January 2024)

Both trips we took included visits to a Mezcal DIstillery. The first one was quite interesting because it showed the ancestral way to make mezcal. It is called Numana.

They served the mezcal in a traditional cup for us to keep. Kristin kept it for future use, whatever it may be. The young lady who served Mezcal was wearing traditional clothes that was pretty. I took a photo of her with Kristin.

The second place was a larger scale and a lot more commercialized. They did not even make any effort to explain the process but provided a few options for tasting.

Anyway, it was interesting to experience Mexico's traditional drink. - Jeffrey
