Meeting with SfK Fellow Workers, Korea (April/May 2023)

This trip to Korea involved many meetings with SfK Kingdom Fellows, including SfK Korea board meeting which is covered in a separate blog post. 

The first gathering we had was with all members who participated in the 2022 SfK BAM Field Trip. All six of us were reunited including Caleb Yoo who came to visit Korea from Vietnam. What a joy to see them! They all are key members of SfK ministry in Korea.

We had a gathering with BJ and Fernando over dinner as a couple. They are in the airline industry, but their passion for Christ flies higher than the airplanes.

Minyoung Jung is a retired missionary formerly with Wycliffe. He is serving with SfK as an adviser. His friendship and insightful advice are priceless.

Elder Sungho Kim came to visit me in Gangnam. We had a fellowship over dinner and at a cafe afterward. He is serving as the Standing Auditor of SfK Korea. We had a joyful time.

Kang Rak Lee is CEO of a consulting firm. He has been serving as a lecturer for SfK BMT courses. He has agreed to expand his involvement in a few additional areas. It is a blessing to earn his confidence and commitment.

Abraham Lee is serving in the Islam cultures. He is in transition now and we had a great fellowship time.

Before I left Korea, I had a meeting with BJ again and his wife nicknamed Buritto. She is involved in art therapy or counseling. She has agreed to serve as part of the SfK Counseling Force. Thank you Lord for Your providence!

We are fellow Kingdom workers in Christ as His ambassadors as Paul described in the bible: "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God." (2 Corinthians 5:20) Let us be good ones. - Jeffrey
