Meeting with Fellow Christians Korea (April/May 2023)

In addition to SfK Kingdom Fellows and SBS members, I also met other Christians all of whom are ministers in one capacity or another. The photo above was for a group of people who are related to Harry Kim's ministry.

Separately, I met up with Elder Kyung Sup Kwon who is still active in ministry and business in his 80s.

I took a couple of young ministers to Rev. Dongho Kim. They are involved in providing financial stewardship education for young adults. We had a wonderful time of witnessing what the Lord is doing through our lives.

Joseph Choi served with a Christian mission agency in Tanzania for many years, and also at Seoul National University as a pastor for foreign students. We met in Thailand and have kept up our relationship. He is now serving a small church in Korea in a poor neighborhood. He has been a great encouragement to me.

We had a gathering over lunch with Pastor Peter and his wife Sharon. We first met them in 1983 when we attended and served at Oriental Mission Church in Los Angeles, California. They now pastor a Presbyterian Church in Incheon. Pastor Peter has gone through cancer treatment and was recovering. His optimism and radiant smile are always encouraging to many people.

Pastor Dongho Song is now CEO of NOW Mission, a mission agency specializing in BAM. He also pastors an international church worshiping in Korean. His church has many foreign members who prefer to worship in Korean. SfK partners with NOW Mission and we collaborate in many areas.

I met with Mr. Sung Lim Kwak, Chairman and CEO of a chemical company and Mr. Steve Baek who will serve as the CEO for an asset management company as part of Mr. Kwak's business group. They both are interested in developing a fund to empower missional businesses. I look forward to witnessing what the Lord has in store for our relationship.

Mr. Namgoong is the CEO of Cconma Co. Ltd. He is also involved in many ministries, including BAM. We share a desire to see a BAM Fund to be established to empower missional businesses and the BAM ecosystem in Korea. We will see how the Lord orchestrates many initiatives and desires.

After the long pandemic, I had to meet many people to catch up and to plan for the next steps after the pandemic is over. I pray for meaningful fruits to be born out of these meetings in His time according to His will. Glory be to the Lord! - Jeffrey
