Places of Interest, Kauai, Hawaii (September/October 2024)

Since we visited many places on this island, we were not actively seeking to visit places. But, we still ventured out to see some places while we had a car. One place we visited was Sea Turtle Resting Place. Sea Turtles were coming out of the water at Poipu Beach to rest. Once they came out, they were not moving at all for hours. We saw one crawling out of the water with difficulty.

Another place we visited was Spouting Horn. The ocean water was spouting out of a rock hole. 

On the way back from Poipu Beach, we made a stopover at Old Koloa Town. There were several shops and restaurants, but the size was quite small. We passed through a Tree Tunnel on the way back to Pono Kai.

We went to visit Smith's Tropical Paradise but the name was quite blown up. There was a small lake, a lot of chickens, several peacocks, and some flowers. 

We also visited Wailua Waterfall. We were allowed to watch from above without access to the waterfall.
