Originally, I was scheduled to take part Mission Naga, a missional gathering for people of Nagaland in North East India. But, the organizer Pastor Barnabas Moon became ill and had to cancel the gathering. But, I already purchased the plane tickets and I was scheduled to continue traveling to Bishkek Kyrgyzstan from Chiang Mai. So I decided to follow up with a few people who went through SfK training or who were involved in BAM.
The first people I wanted to meet were Kyung Suk Suh and his wife. They used to serve in Nepal and have been serving in Chiang Mai for the past eight years. Mr. Suh participated in our BCT (Boot Camp Training) in 2018, and as his project, he presented a plan for the business that he is currently running. He has been executing and implementing almost exactly the way he presented. They are currently operating a coffee reastery and coffee farm tour business. Two businesses were quite impressive. Both husband and wife were complementary to each other. I was grateful for God's grace and guidance for them.
I was able to see Caleb Ji who used to serve in China, but has been living and serving in Chiang Mai since he had to leave China. We met at Okatsu Restaurant, which we used to go quite often when we were living in Chiang Mai. The meeting was pleasant.
I also met up with Professor Dongchul Lee, who is teaching at one of the Thailand universities. He used to serve in China. Our meeting venue was the Zeit Coffee. The way they serve the coffee was unique and noble.
We lived in Chiang Mai for four years until we had to leave in November 2020 due to uncertainty about re-entering the country because of the COVID situation. We enjoyed our life in Thailand. - Jeffrey
