After I returned from a 2-month trip to Korea and Central Asia, I stayed at home for a month in October. In addition to resting and recovering from the travel fatigue, we had a few gatherings. One of them was a get-together with Pastor Jungho Kim and his wife, who were the lead pastor for Grace Church in South Carolina. We had a joyous reunion at Cheesecake Factory.
We also had a joyous reunion with our travel companions when Mr. Jong Sup Yoon came to visit Atlanta. Samuel Kim hosted a dinner at a barbecue place, and we had a wonderful time together. We look forward to our next trip in February next year.
After we moved to Georgia, we started attending the Servant Korean Evangelical Church. We were assigned to a small group, called Logos Group, and when we met in October, two of us received the birthday celebration.
Meanwhile, our younger daughter, Joyce, living in Alameda, California, had a baby shower for her second child. We are excited about her second child, who will be our fourth grandchild.
One month of staying at home gave me a good amount of rest, and I was able to get ready for the next trip. - Jeffrey
