Guadalajara (II) - New Year 2024, Mexico (January 2024)

We normally welcome the New Year at home. But, this time, we crossed into the New Year 2024 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Technically, we were traveling continually in both 2023 and 2024.

Although we were overseas, we still had our rice cake soup or Ddeokkuk. Yeah, Kris!

As we were reflecting what the Lord has done in and through us in 2023, we could not thank God enough. To make a short list:

  • I had a brain MRI in January and received a clean bill.
  • In January and February, we traveled to South America, visiting Iguasu Falls, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Torres del Paine, Puerto Natales, Perito Moreno, Santiago, La Paz, and Sala de Uyuni.
  • We had the third grandson in February.
  • We celebrated the first birthday of Gabriel, our second grandson, in March.
  • We traveled to Korea in April and stayed at Jay Yoon's house for 45 days.
  • We received a new room mate from August.
  • We held SfK BMT 2023 from August for 16 weeks.
  • We held MB Connect in even months in 2023.
  • We started Coaching Force, Counseling Force, and BAMer Care Program.
  • We did a road trip for two weeks in August.
  • We traveled to Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania in August.
  • We traveled to Turkey in September.
  • We traveled to Korea in October and secured our lodging.
  • We traveled to Thailand in October and November.
  • I joined the SfK BAM Field Trip visiting Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand in October.
  • We had a family gathering in Plano, Texas. We took our family photo of nine members.
  • We traveled to Mexico, staying at Mazatlan for three weeks, at Mexico City for a week, and touring with Gate 1's Colonial Mexico from Mexico City to Guadalajara via Queretaro, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Morelia, Patzcuaro, Tzintzuntzan. Wow!!!

Without God's grace, nothing would have been made possible.

As we receive the brand New Year 2024, we remain hopeful because we worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. To those who read this blog, we wish you a Happy New Year in Christ!

I pray that we will draw nearer to God in 2024 through faithful prayer, consistent bible meditation, and obedient life. May it come true! Amen! - Jeffrey
