Apollonia, Albania (February 2026)

After we left Vlore, we headed to Apollonia Archaeological Park. Apollonia is a UNESCO World Heritage site as one of the most important Greco-Roman historical sites on the Adriatic coast. It flourished during the 4 C AD under the Roman Empire. This site has produced numerous historical artifacts that are well preserved at the museum.

At the site, St Mary Church is located, an Orthodox Church. Along with the museum, this church attracts many tourists to reflect on the past lifestyle.

The variety of historical artifacts displayed at the museum was quite diverse and antiquish. They were impressive. - Jeffrey
