Agrotourism, Albania (February 2026)

On the way back to Tirana from visiting North Macedonia and Montenegro, we made a stop at a farm for lunch. It was part of Albania's agrotourism. The farm was professionally run by a family and many staff. It had not only a restaurant, but also several farm houses raising animals and birds, and a gift shop selling their own products. It was quite impressive. The food was excellent!

The gift shop was selling jams, honeys, cheeses, alcoholic beverages, and souvenirs.

They were raising goats, geese, pigs, and cows.

The agrotourism has been popular in Italy, and it seems that this popular tourism is spreading to other nations as well. We enjoyed our time at this farm and its agrotourism. - Jeffrey
