SfK Joint Board, Chungju, Korea (May 2025)

I made a month-long trip to Korea in May. The trip's primary purpose was to attend the joint board meeting between the SfK Life and SfK Korea boards. We held it over three days, May 1 to 3, in Chungju-si at a retreat center. 

We took a group photo of the SfK Life board members. Only three of us attended, but we represented the majority with a proxy.

We also took a group photo of the SfK Korea board members, with five of them missing from the photo. Later, three more joined us.

The retreat center has several trails we walked, holding conversations. 

The time of discussion was serious and profound. We were all encouraged by the outcome we came up with. 

We visited Joyful Partners, one of the BAM partners with which we will work together in the future. The scenery was panoramic. 

The company had many paintings hung on the walls, one of which is below.

Our dining time was pleasant and heart-warming for us all. 

We had a chat at Viche Cafe, which one of the board members, Sungsoo Kim, was running. It is now closed.
