The year 2020 has carried a special meaning because of its number. It represents a perfect vision 2020.
In Chinese zodiac order, the lunar new year 2020 is the year of rat. I am sure it has a lot of meanings that the Chinese people love to talk about.
A new year symbolizes a new beginning.
As a Christian, the new beginning represents a renewed determination to imitate and live more like Christ, which can only be achieved by walking closely with Him through diligent time of prayer and meditating on the holy scriptures.
Moreover, we Christians should be the blessing to people in the world, including fellow Christians. Through our service, we will be able to honor and praise our Lord Jesus Christ.
On the New Year's Day, we had rice cake soup, or Ddeokkuk, which makes us gain one age according to Korean customs.
It was delicious! That is how we began the New Year 2020. May we live with His abundant blessings according to His will to be a steadfast blessing to people in need around us and around the world! - Jeffrey
